Radio Telescope

Built from scratch · 1420 MHz hydrogen line

Designed and built a working radio telescope — parabolic dish, feedhorn, waveguide, software-defined-radio receiver, low-noise amplifier, bandpass filter and motorised mount — to map the Milky Way using 21 cm hydrogen-line radiation.

The completed radio telescope — a mesh parabolic dish on a wooden motorised mount, with the team.
